About Phillips Creek Ranch
Phillips Creek Ranch is one of the larger master-planned communities in west Frisco, with a mix of home styles, shared amenities, parks and trails woven through the neighborhood. Like most master-planned communities, it has an HOA, and front yards are a big part of how the streets look.
Mowing notes for this part of Frisco
A lot of homes in this part of Frisco are newer builds, so many lawns are still filling in. Newer turf generally does best with regular, moderate cuts instead of being left to get tall and then cut back hard. The general one-third rule (do not remove more than about a third of the blade at once) is a good guide, and in the growing season a weekly plan is the easiest way to follow it.
Open, sunny yards suit Bermuda, which grows fast in summer and spreads by runners toward the sidewalk and driveway. Edging on every visit keeps those lines sharp before the runners get a head start.
HOA standards
Coopers Mowing does not know the specifics of any HOA's rules. If your HOA has lawn guidelines that mention mowing, share them with Joseph when you ask for a quote. A steady schedule is the simplest way to stay ahead of them.
