The Stonebriar area sits in south Frisco, near the Plano border and around Stonebriar Centre. Its neighborhoods are more established than much of the city, with mature trees, many larger homes, and a mix of yard sizes, from standard lots to bigger corner lots.

Corner lots and long drives

Bigger lots and corner lots mean more sidewalk, longer driveways and more lawn visible from the street. Every visit includes edging along the sidewalks and driveway, so the longest runs of concrete stay crisp, then a blow-off of the driveway, sidewalks, walkways and patio.

Established lawns

In established neighborhoods, lawns often sit under mature trees for part of the day. Shaded grass, often St. Augustine, generally does better when it is not cut too short. Sunny stretches of the same yard may be Bermuda, which is kept lower and grows faster. Telling Joseph what you know about your lawn when you ask for a quote helps.

Staying on schedule

A large lawn that gets away from you is a lot of tall grass to cut back. The general one-third rule (do not remove more than about a third of the blade at once) is why weekly mowing is the usual pick for bigger yards in the growing season. In slower months, every other week can be enough.
