Starwood is a gated neighborhood in Frisco, known for larger homes and front yards with beds, trees and long driveways. Gated communities usually come with HOA standards for how yards look from the street, and a big front lawn is hard to miss when it gets shaggy.

Bigger yards, more detail

Larger lots mean more lawn to keep even and more edges around it. Planted beds, young trees and fence lines all need string trimming, which is part of every visit, along with edging along the sidewalk and driveway and a blow-off of the hard surfaces. On a long driveway, that last step is often what you notice first when you pull in.

A big lawn also grows a lot of grass in a Texas summer. In the growing season, a weekly plan keeps each cut small, which is easier on the grass than cutting back a tall yard all at once. In slower months, every other week can be enough. Pricing depends on yard size, so a larger lot is simply quoted for what it is.

Getting through the gate

You never need to be home for a visit, but the yard does need to be reachable. In a gated community, that starts at the front gate. When you ask for a quote, tell Joseph how access works for your street, and share any side gate code for the backyard. Keep pets inside on mowing day.
